  • Products

    There are 3 main byproducts from lead acid battery recycling:

    PLASTIC PELLETS

    The plastics from battery cases and covers are separated from the batteries, washed and then melted down into plastic pellets. These pellets are sold on for the manufacture of new cases and covers.

    LEAD

    Lead ingots are recycled from battery grids, battery posts and battery terminals. Along with lead oxide, these are used to manufacture lead for new grids, parts and lead oxide.

    ELECTROLYTES

    Sodium sulfate crystals are separated from the used electrolyte (dilute sulfuric acid). These are recycled and sold for use in textile, glass and detergent manufacturing.
